Mastic cream dessert!

A wonderful cream, with milk, cream and mastic aroma. It is easy and quick to make, goes very well with sweet sour cherry or rose and its taste is very similar to malébi.

Recipe ingredients:
Mastic: 2 - 3 pieces (about 3/4 of a teaspoon)
Sugar: 1 cup
Milk: 1 liter
Cornflour: 4 tablespoons
Flour: 4 tablespoons
Butter: 100 g
Cream: 200 ml

Instructions:
1. Put 1 tablespoon of the sugar and the mastic in a mortar and pound them until the mastic is ground. Keep them aside.
2. Take a cup of the milk and add the cornflour and flour to it. Stir until they dissolve in the milk. Keep them aside too.
3. Put the remaining milk, sugar, butter, cream and mastic in a saucepan. Add the milk with the flour and cornflour, after first passing it through a sieve (if there are no lumps of flour left, you do not need to strain).
4. Put the pot on the fire and stir constantly. When the mixture boils, lower the heat and continue stirring for 10 minutes. When the time is up, remove from the heat.                                                                                                                                5. Divide the cream into bowls and let it cool. Put it in the refrigerator to cool well. Serve it plain or with sour cherry or rose dessert.
